PKBooks is the leading online book authentication expert providing authentication services and educational material for booksellers, book buyers, and book collectors. The website works in a close integration with www.ebay.com . Purposes of the website:
- Exclusive online authentications for eBay
- Online appraisals (currently unavailable while we upgrade to a new version)
- Formal hands-on appraisals of books and ephemera for tax, insurance and settlement purposes
There are three levels of access to the website: sellers/buyers, deales and admin. Seller can place a book for the dealer's authentification. Dealer receives the request for the authentification and performs it. Admin can manage sellers, dealers, authentifications. All operations like registering, authentification requests are paid so the website works with the credit card service provider to make online payments. There is a interesting feature - seller coupons.Their purpose is to make an authentification free of charge. Coupons are set by the website admin by a seller request and can be used for any authentification.

There are two categories of the user - employers and consultants. The site is an intermediate layer between them. All published data are approved by the administrator. The administrator manages the site through the admin area.

PHP based content manager with the customizable interface. The project is useful when a customer wants to get the ready site with dynamic content. In short time a designer makes a logo, some pictures, banners, defines site-style and uploads that to the site through the admin area. After that the site is ready to use. The customer enters a content through the admin area. The time from the request to the ready site is less than one day.
The project consists of the user area and the admin area. In the admin area the user manages the site's style, the logo, banners, content. The user content is presented in a two-level tree. Each node in the tree can have the unlimited number of articles. An article can have a picture. The project supports the subscribe service.
